The Philadelphia Police Department continues to investigate evidence recovered from 417 West Chew Avenue in the city’s Olney section.

As part of the investigation, detectives recovered a substantial volume of digital evidence, including hundreds of thousands of images and videos. During their review, investigators discovered recordings of two women who were shown alive and, in later footage, apparently deceased.

The PPD Northwest Detective Division is attempting to identify the individual responsible for this commercial burglary.

On August 9, 2026, at approximately 2:30AM, at 6324 Stenton Ave an unknown male was observed breaking in and burglarizing the Citizens Bank at that location. Surveillance cameras from the bank show a black male wearing a black mask, hoodie, jacket, pants, shoes, and a black bookbag with “ENON Tabernacle Baptist Church” emblem break a door window using a red brick to enter the bank. While inside the male took several blank checks. The male was last seen walking north bound away from Stenton Ave toward Tulpehocken St. This offender is also a suspect of a commercial burglary at the same location and wearing all black but with a white partial mask that occurred on August 5, 2026.
